The plot 

The crinoline became popular in the 18th century and looked more like a walking prison than an elegant, feminine fashion item. Just like the corset, the crinoline was limiting, inconvenient and objectifying for women, since its function was to make women appear to have wide hips, which was synonymous with fertility.

After centuries, it still seems like we continue to wear this crinoline imposed by society. It is in wage inequality, harassment, stereotyping. However, today this happens in a less explicit, hidden way. So let's expose it! Expose in newspapers, on social media. Let's get that fake crinoline out!
